This year I'm doing most of my Christmas shopping online. For my mom I bought.. no, I can't say that here. But she knows already because I told her not to buy it. This year's Christmas shopping cost me around $500 for my immediate family.
I decided to buy myself a little present too. Today I bought an HP iPaq 4350 PDA. It's got a built in keyboard, 802.11b and bluetooth. I have an older HP PDA but find without network access I don't use it as much as I could be. This new one costs $630 CAN + taxes new but I bought it for $315 CAN on ebay. Hopefully in the new year I'll be writing programs for it.
I also put up my old Christmas tree handed down to me from my grandparents. It's about 4 feet tall, 20 years old, and has no decorations at all! It's in my living room waiting to be decorated. I think I left the decorations for it at dad's house and he's probably got it on his tree now. I don't think I'll really do much christmasy stuff at my house.. or if I do it won't be until next year.
