Today I went to my hairdresser's and got a hair cut.. and a "full back wax" heheh. I've only had it done once before a couple years back and have been putting it off since. I didn't want to go on vacation next week in Florida with a hairy back so I had it done again.
The way I remember my first time, it hurt but the worst part was near the top by the shoulders. I thought I'd be smart this time and have her start with the shoulders so that the rest of my back wouldn't seem so bad. After the first rip I was shocked at how it hurt more than I had ever imagined! It hurt so much I lost feeling for a few seconds. She kept tearing away and my hands were shaking because of the pain. I had to have her stop and told her to just shave the rest of the shoulders. Next she moved down the back and started tearing. I couldn't believe it.. it hurt almost as much as the shoulders! I was paying her to hurt me for like 20 minutes! I think back and chest waxing would be a good way to extract information out of someone who doesn't want to give you the information you're looking for :)
Some day I'm definitely going to get my back lasered. Hair grows back fairly quickly after a wax job and it is extremely painful. Laser hair removal is expensive but I think it's quite painless and after a few sessions it's permanent.
