This article says Sadam Hussein will be hung within 30 days! Back in the 1700's death by hanging would be normal but in the 21st century? I thought all death sentences are carried out with three needles. The first puts you into a deep sleep, the second causes your lungs to collapse and empty, and the third stops your heart. (I only know that because I saw a documentary on tv). Hanging, electric chair and guillotine are cruel and painful. I guess in the case of people like Sadam, this type of death isn't as cruel as what he did to his own people. Maybe govenments and the media want to make a spectacle of him. His lawyers warn of a blood bath if Sadam is hung.
Have you seen a movie called American Soldiers? It shows what one day is like being an American soldier in Iraq. They chose the blodiest day of the war to show in the movie. If the movie really shows what a day in Iraq is like, those soldies go through hell. They can't even trust the police they are asked to work with.
