My dad's girlfriend's dog Sadie died on Christmas day! I went there around 12:30 to open presents and they were taking her temperature. Her body temperature was several degrees below normal and the Internet says get the animal to a vet immediately. Being Christmas day everything was closed. She found an emergency vet open in Barrie and drove Sadie there. I didn't find out until a week later that she died that night. What an awful Christmas present for Cathy. However that dog had health problems from the beginning. She was alergic to everything including dog food. Cathy had to cook rice, chicken, peas etc.. every day for her. Sadie also had a bladder problem and had to go every few hours. I remember how I felt when I knew Heidi was going to go at any time. Now Cathy can relax a bit.
Speaking of Heidi, she visited me in an other dream recently. It was a while back and it might have even been Christmas day when Sadie died. The last time Heidi visited me in a dream was on the 1 year aniversary of her death. This time she looked young and healthy and was very pleased to see me.
