A second vision

Again this happened while I was sleeping so I could be just dreaming but like I've said about previous visions like this one.. I believe it's real.

Last night immediately after I fell asleep I saw clouds parting to the left and right very fast and there was a bright light behind them. It was completely silent. My brain knew right away I was probably about to be visited by Nana again and I woke up.

I wonder if she knows I can't handle seeing while I'm awake and was waiting for the first opportunity after I fell asleep to visit me. What I got out of this vision is that Nana has now left and is in Heaven. I told her several times I want her to show me proof of afterlife and that Heaven is real. I think this was it. She was showing me Heaven.

Later Mom told me that today is the third day, and that's the day your spirit goes to Heaven for good. Wow this is so neat.

Vision of Nana

Last night while sleeping I had a real quick vision of Nana. She was sitting on the edge of her hospital bed (like she would be if she was about to stand up and walk away from it) dressed in her hospital gown. She looked 10 years younger, healthy, happy and at peace. She was looking right at me and what I remember most was the blue eyes. I was a bit surprised and woke up right away.

Christmas 2005 and a weird dream

Christmas 2005 has come and gone. I did the usual dinner with family, opened presents etc.. this year was a good year as usual. I tried to think of affordable gifts to ask for that would be useful to me. I got everything I asked for. This year was Bandit's first Christmas and he got a bunch of doggy treats. When I was driving home every street was either empty or had 1-2 cars on it. Every store parking lot was empty. It is so weird seeing the entire city completely deserted.

Last night I had a really weird dream. I won't describe it in great detail but it involved me drinking lots of Jack Daniels which gave me the ability to fly, and I was flying around with a cooked turkey, stuffing and vegetables who were my friends. Each of them was alive and interacted with me. WTF is going on in my head when I sleep?! My mom says she often has really weird dreams as well. Over the years I've had several dreams where I could float and fly. It's an incredible feeling. Similar to walking, you don't think about moving your legs and turning, it just happens.

This morning was boxing day. I got up around 9:30 and went through the fliers to cut out what I wanted. For the past couple years I've been planning on replacing my digital camera. It's from 1997: no usb (uses serial), maximum support for 8MB cards, terrible in low light, stops me from taking pictures when the room isn't very well lit, 1.4MP which is ok for what I want.. If I'm going to replace it, it will be an SLR with interchangeable lenses. I want the 180 degree fish eye lens, and 360 sphere stitching software so I can take high resolution 360 degree pictures of interesting places. I saw Future Shop had a decent SLR for $150 off. I went to the store and asked a question about batteries. The girl treated me like I was stupid and told me the completely wrong answer to a question I had researched earlier. I could tell she wanted me to buy but didn't want to give me much time. I took my sweet time anyway and even went to their kiosk to triple check I can get lenses for it. I decided to buy so I went back to her. She said they have 1 left in stock. She went to find it and it wasn't there, the computer was mistaken! I took this as a sign that I'm not supposed to buy it right now, and maybe that's not the one I should be buying. I had a gut feeling that I shouldn't be spending that kind of money right now anyway. I actually felt relieved after. I went to a bunch of other stores and spent about $150. I picked up useful stuff like a $15 paper shredder (regular 40), a blender for $24 (regular $36), Norton System Works 2006 for $20 (after $30 mail in rebate) and a couple other small things. Tomorrow I want to pick up a $20 set of drill bits (large collection of them from RYOBI) and a $20 closet organizer (regular $50). It is a cheap one but had everything I want and is exactly the size of my closet.

The new version of the site

I feel a bit discouraged at my progress. I conveniently started to "burn out" after 4 solid months of reading and practicing. I spent a week on it and for the past 3-4 days I've been relaxing, barely even reading. I think it's because of my multiple large projects at work that use up my brain all day, then I come home to hours of study at night. Hopefully I can do this for new years :/

Something I'd like to put on my site, that I haven't done for many years, is my dreams. Every few nights I have wild dreams and I'm very good at remembering them while I'm awake. When I'm not being lazy I write it down. I've been writing the best down for years but haven't put them on my site because people might think I'm crazy. Now I think everyone has dreams that don't make sense like I do, but most people don't remember their dreams. I'll use last night's dream as a sample. This dream is much shorter than most, and is nothing compared to most but it is kinda funny:

I was having a shower.. it was a really nice and large built in shower. I finished and was looking for the towel. Since I wasn't at home, I wasn't sure where the towel was so I walked around a bit looking. Suddenly I realized that I was at the Pharmacy desk at Shoppers Drug Mart! Girls behind the counter were staring at me dripping all over the floor and naked. I covered my privates and quickly ran a few isles down back to the shower. I'm not sure if I found a towel or not.

I'll likely post them as blog entries. The new site has categories so there will be a dream category. You'll be able to filter by category and see only dreams if you want. Most of them are way out there and are pretty funny. Others are terrifying.

Another weird dream

Last night's dream was kinda weird and fun. I was in some mall with my grandma. We came around a corner and she told me how she had lots of memories of this part of the mall and took a picture. We then went in an elevator. I saw people coming so I pressed the button to keep the doors open. They came in. We started going down and I noticed we were speeding up. Next I realized that the walls around us were windows and that we just exited below the building into open space. I looked out and it seemed we were miles high in the sky above the city. I tried to stay calm. Next something happened the floor moved around and changed into chairs, which everyone was forced into. The walls and ceiling disappeared, then the whole thing leaned back. It had turned into a roller coaster with no seat belts or anything but a chair. We were going VERY fast, and we were facing backwards so couldn't see what was coming. Everyone was screaming and we were going around bends and curves. I thought it was quite thrilling, but was concerned for our safety because there was nothing holding us down. Eventually we got to the bottom and it was some sort of airport? We were on the ground beside a hangar. I saw a guy on a motorcycle FLY out of the building and he must have been flying about 50 feet high. He was pulling some sort of GoodYear advertisement behind him. He landed far away and came back. I saw people lined up outside as if it were some kind of ride? We kept walking and I saw a small prop plane but the prop was made up of hundreds of long wiry things.. kind of like feathers. There wasn't 3 distinct prop blades.. but hundreds that went the full 360 degrees around. I don't remember anything after that.
